What crap! 4-1 defeat to the Germans. Why so bad?
It's got to be the number of foreign players in the premier league. Our young stars are just not coming through, they have no chance to get in the team, so they play in the lower leagues. It's time for a limit on the number of non English players in the match squad. Make it 50%.

And as for FIFA not using technology to resolve? Well they must be bonkers, or is there some hidden agenda here? It's obvious that they wanted France rather than Ireland to qualify as it meant more money. Whether Frank Lampards goal was allowed or not would probably not made much difference, we would have lost 4-2. Then, of course the Tevez offside goal would not have been allowed. Where will it all end? A fair result in football - surely not?

Cheating

I feel sorry for the Irish, not only have they got Jerk and Backward in X factor, but their footy team has been knocked out of the world cup by a blatant handball by Thierry Henry. He has admitted it, but says it's down to the ref to disallow the goal. This game should be replayed, but the fact is FIFA don't want Ireland in the world cup as they haven't got any big name players like Thierry Henry. Mind you they don't have any cheats either.
